Aideen Shannon is an accredited Coach and Facilitator with specialism in Leadership, HR & Strategic Wellbeing. Aideen is passionate about building safe, well and engaging workplaces for every individual. She has over 25+ years of experience in leading human resources and organisational programme delivery. She has worked for a variety of industries including IT/Cybersecurity, Universities, Engineering, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device.
Aideen has over 15 years of specific experience in facilitating, coaching and leading individuals and organisations through significant change. This has included outplacement and career planning projects, team development and wellbeing and resilience. Training specialisms include EDI, Dignity & Respect at Work, Self-Awareness/MBTI and Wellbeing in the Workplace. Aideen is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
She is passionate in enabling and empowering leaders, teams and organizations to improve their potential based on a strengths-based, coactive approach to lead with empathy for longer term change. Her ethos is underpinned by positive psychology, neuroscience, and resilience focusing on longer-term behaviour change.
She is qualified in a number of BPS accredited psychometrics and assessments including MBTI, 16pf, Saville and TKI Conflict Management. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership in Health & Wellbeing in the Workplace in addition to qualifications in HR. She has completed further studies in emotional intelligence & empathy and the science of happiness.
